Acumen Supports Epilepsy Foundation’s Chocolate Fling

The Epilepsy Foundation’s annual Chocolate Fling was held Saturday November 2nd. The Foundation works to ensure people with seizure disorders are able to participate in all life experiences by providing public education and support services such as support groups, training and education, medication assistance, and art therapy to individuals and families.

This year’s event revolved around a 20’s theme at The Read House with 17 Chocolatiers from around the region and several demonstrators as well as both silent and live auction opportunities. The Foundation recognized 15 young professional honorees under the age of 30 who have been recognized in the community for their commitment to volunteer efforts and performance in the workplace including Acumen’s very own Katie Sanchez. This year the honorees combined campaign efforts raised over $10,000 for the Epilepsy Foundation.
